MotoGP: News at Mugello for Colin Edwards, Aleix Espargarò aims high

The Italian Grand Prix which will take place next Sunday at Mugello is also the home Grand Prix for Forward Racing, given that the headquarters of the main sponsor NGM Mobile is just over 90km from the circuit. On the Tuscan track Colin Edwards should take to the track with the new chassis, different from the standard Yamaha one, while Aleix Espargarò will continue to use that of the Japanese manufacturer.

“After the difficult weekend at Le Mans I am motivated to do well at Mugello where we will test some new parts – said Colin Edwards – The Mugello track is really beautiful, but at the same time challenging. It will therefore be essential to find a good set up.”

“I have always loved the Mugello track. I like fast corners and sudden changes in direction – added his team-mate Aleix Espargarò – We will suffer on the long straights, especially in terms of top speed, but I'm sure that the Forward Yamaha will be able to adapt well to this track.
