Only ninth at the end of the first day at Mugello, Andrea Dovizioso in his first home GP of this season is expecting improvements for tomorrow. His Honda loses ground from the center of the corner, thus penalizing the exit from the curves of Mugello and thus not being able to find a good set-up to be able to recover in the standings, even if he has already studied some changes to make to the RC212V for tomorrow.

“This is already my home race and you can already feel the atmosphere of this event. To be honest, I would have preferred to be closer to the leaders in this session, but with some work on setting up the bike we can go further. We lose time in the center and exit of the curve and this is where we need to focus our efforts, but I am confident that we can improve this position in the standings.”
