GP Mugello MotoGP Press Conference – Dani Pedrosa was also present at the press conference preceding the Italian Grand Prix race at Mugello.

After the podium at Le Mans, the HRC driver is excited and ready to do well.

These are the words of Dani Pedrosa: “This is a very important race. I'm happy to be here in these conditions, the high temperatures will give us a good feeling from the start. It's a track that requires a few laps before you can be fast, but if the conditions are good everything will be easier. We did a test in Barcelona and made some improvements. We are improving step by step and so everything is fine. In the last GP I managed to get on the podium but we started far away and were not in a position to make the podium. Here we need to do a good job in qualifying, we don't want to find ourselves in the same situations. For a driver this track is fantastic, there are lots of people, it's a really nice track.”

The Honda rider also spoke about Valentino Rossi, injured during training with the motocross bike: “It's his home grand prix and he knows the track very well. The MotoGP race is difficult, we will have to wait for the tests. The will to be there is there so it will be there.”

Dani was asked if he trains with the motocross bike: “I've been doing motocross since I was a child, but less now. When I started in the world championship I had a crash and from there I used it less. I have a track with no jumps because it's dangerous.”

The Spanish driver was asked who his strongest opponents had been in his career: “Vale and Marc are the strongest opponents we have ever had, they are fast in many aspects, so it is difficult to fight with them in the race. But in my career I have had many rivals.”
