Obviously after last week's pole, the seventh time obtained in Japan does not fully satisfy Nicky Hayden, who among other things has not yet decided which tire to use tomorrow. He still wants to joke and while he's at it he also does a bit of publicity for the sponsor he wears on his helmet, certain of finding a solution and giving it his all in the race

“I'm not very happy about starting seventh, so far from pole, especially after being on pole last week. But these are races and the level in MotoGP is very high. We'll see what happens tomorrow; we have a great responsibility in our hands. In the end my good lap didn't look so good. I was afraid to look at the weather because I knew it wouldn't exactly be good. We were one step behind those guys all weekend and I don't know exactly why. However we still have to decide which tire to use during the race and the boys will need a Red Bull tonight as we will stop a bit to see if we can improve. I don't have enough feeling with the rear, but we'll do everything we can to find a solution together and tomorrow we'll give it our all!”
