Marc Marquez takes his first match point at Motegi. Honda's reigning champion will only need to maintain or increase the lead he currently has in the standings to win his second consecutive MotoGP title. He will try not to think too much about the championship and obviously he would like to win the title at Honda. The word is up to him.

“Aragón was a difficult situation and we learned a valuable lesson. However, we were lucky not to lose points to our rivals and now I know that in Japan I have my first opportunity to win the championship. I'll try not to think about it too much, even though I know it would be nice to win at Honda. We will work hard from day one and we will do it like a normal race weekend, thinking about victory. Last year I was at Motegi for the first time with a MotoGP and it was a very difficult weekend, so let's hope we have a dry track to find a good set-up!”

…but shouldn't the geriatrician have won this year? Even that lobotomized father had declared that it was a year of apprenticeship, that he had come from difficult years in Ducati and had to get used to the top again, that in 2013 he was a wild card etc... am I remembering correctly, ugly tavulliaboys?
