MotoGP – Motegi Day 1 – Akiyoshi is very satisfied
di Alessio Brunori21 September 2007
For the home Grand Prix in Motegi, Suzuki fields a third rider, Kousuke Akiyoshi. The Japanese recorded the sixth best time of the day, leaving behind him drivers with much more experience: the numerous tests carried out on the track helped him achieve this result, but now we look to tomorrow's qualifying, where he will have to do his best to ensure a good position for the race.
“I am very satisfied with my position and perhaps even a little surprised – admitted Akiyoshi – It's nice to be able to race on the GSV-R after so many tests this year. I think I can go a little faster now and tomorrow I will try to get a good position on the starting grid that will be useful for the race.”
