MotoGP – Misano QP1 – De Angelis disappointed with the 13th time

Alex De Angelis certainly cannot be satisfied with the 13th time in qualifying for the San Marino and Riviera Romagnola Grand Prix on the Misano Adriatico track. The San Marino rider of the San Carlo Honda Gresini team has not been able to take advantage of the Bridgestones for some time, thus finding himself in a fifth row which does not represent the ideal starting position...

“These qualifications don't fully satisfy me, but there are both positive and negative sides: I managed to be consistently fast with the race tyres, even if we still struggle with the qualifying tyres”, says Alex De Angelis. “Unfortunately, in fact, we still aren't able to take advantage of the long-term tires and consequently we aren't able to reduce the times in a manner proportional to what the other drivers are able to do. However, I am confident because during free practice I tried several starts and I am satisfied with the result, therefore, my goal for tomorrow will be to be able to start well and then recover positions, even if it is not easy to overtake on this track.".
