MotoGP Misano: Jorge Lorenzo “Marquez took an incredible pole”

Jorge Lorenzo will start from the front row tomorrow at Misano, scene of the thirteenth stage of the 2013 world championship. The reigning Yamaha champion set the second fastest time with a time of 1'33.428. The Majorcan was unable to counter world championship leader Marc Marquez, who obtained pole and a new track record. At the end of the tests he wanted to highlight the incredible lap of his compatriot from Honda, who he will try to follow in the race tomorrow.

“I expected to struggle less this weekend and to be able to go faster than last year, but I wasn't able to improve that much. We improved a little but not enough to be closer to Marc (Marquez, ed.). He had an incredible ride. We have problems in braking and we also suffer in acceleration, which is why the lap time is not better. I will try to make a good start tomorrow and perhaps the best strategy is to follow Marc and see how our performance will be both during the race.”
