Alvaro Bautista finished the Misano grand prix in 8th place, at the end of a troubled weekend for him, in line with the other races run this year. Starting from the fourth row, the Spaniard from the Gresini team managed to recover several positions, even overtaking Aleix Espargaro in the final; However, a visor problem prevented him from maintaining eighth position, which he later recovered following his compatriot's fall on the last lap.
The Spaniard certainly doesn't have a good feeling with his Rcv this year, Let's hope the tune changes next year with the Aprilia.

“Today we were unable to resolve the problems we had over the weekend – said Alvaro Bautista – and it was very difficult to stop the bike entering the bend; plus I lacked the right contact feeling with the tyres. I achieved the best I could in these conditions, fighting with several riders, then with 10 laps to go I also had a problem with the visor of my helmet, which prevented me from seeing well and maintaining my pace. For this reason I was unable to stay with Espargaro; Aleix then crashed on the last lap and so I gained a position, finishing eighth. I didn't have good feelings, but at least we finished the race and collected points. We must obviously continue to work to better understand the reason for all these problems and try to find a solution, because in this way it is difficult to be competitive and even by pushing to the maximum the gap from the other riders remains high."
