MotoGP – McWilliams: "Good progress, but there is still a lot to do"
Troubled tests, interspersed with physical pain following the terrible crash in Jerez. For Jeremy McWilliams, the return to the track at Losail was not the best: only 12 laps on the first day, in the pits on the second, due to severe pain in his left leg. However, the stoic "Jezza" gave his contribution in the development of the Ilmor X3, proving to be overall optimistic in anticipation of the first race of the season...
“The progress has been remarkable: I practically met a new bike in Losail, even if there is still a lot of work to do”, says the 42-year-old Northern Irishman. “In Jerez we will have some significant innovations to the engine and this will bring more horsepower which will allow us to get closer to our opponents. I hope to be better physically than at Losail, so as to be able to evaluate our state of competitiveness more precisely"
