MotoGP: Marc Marquez “I have a score to settle with Phillip Island, I want to win again”
With the championship awarded, the Spaniard aims to return to success
Marc Marquez arrives at Phillip Island after winning his second consecutive MotoGP class title last Sunday. The Honda rider arrives in Australia relaxed, with the knowledge that the pressure will no longer be his business. He wants to return to victory, his opponents are warned. He has the say.
“What we achieved in Japan a few days ago is still in my memory, in my mind, in my heart! Winning the championship in the first two years of MotoGP is a dream and I have to thank my family, my team and Repsol Honda for all their dedication. Now we relax, but not too much, I still want to win races. I have unfinished business with Phillip Island after what happened last year! (he had been disqualified for returning to the pits too late in a flag to flag race in the dry). I like the track, it's a lot of fun so let's hope for good weather so we can enjoy the weekend!”
