MotoGP – Losail QP1 – For Capirossi, the choice to cancel the tests was the right one

From the height of his experience, Loris Capirossi expressed a favorable comment regarding the cancellation of today's MotoGP qualifying in Motegi. The track, according to the Imola native, was impassable, therefore tomorrow he will be forced to start from the second row with the sixth fastest time. For Loris, however, the problem is another, namely the lack of possibility of riding a few more minutes to fix the set-up of his Suzuki.

“I'm not happy because of the problems we've had these days”, says Loris Capirossi. “Unfortunately the cancellation of qualifying doesn't help us, and now we have little time to try new solutions for the bike setting. With the conditions that existed today it was right not to ride, because it would have been very dangerous. I particularly like this track and I hope for good weather tomorrow, so I can test the potential of our bike in the race: it will be difficult to make the right choice, but I believe we can do well regardless of the weather conditions.".
