“Given my physical condition, I am satisfied with what I have done. Many wouldn't have raced, I tried and got excellent references considering our technical package. Plus I have a good pace for the race, where I'm sure I'll be able to see the checkered flag without any problems. The bike is fine, we worked for a long time on the Dunlop tires, trying different solutions for both qualifying and the race. It's a shame because this could have been a race that was favorable to us: I'm sorry about my physical condition, otherwise the outcome would undoubtedly have been more positive."
