MotoGP – Losail Day 1 – Mika Kallio: "I'm happy with this start"

Pramac Racing Team rider Mika Kallio confirms his good performance recorded in the official Jerez tests with an excellent seventh best time on the first day of free practice in Doha for the Qatar Grand Prix which will take place on Sunday evening at 22pm Italian time. The Finnish driver remained in the top eight for the entire session, finishing with a time of 1'58.499, which earned him the seventh fastest time. An excellent start for a rookie, he has the say.

“Today everything went quite well. I managed to be very consistent and this gives me even more confidence for Sunday's race. It will certainly be important to work well tomorrow too and then see what we can do in the race. I'm happy with this start. The Team worked really well. It was strange to work so intensely on two bikes given the 15 minute cut per session, but we'll have to get used to it.”
