MotoGP Le Mans, Qualifying: Andrea Dovizioso “I'm happy with the front row, but it will be a difficult race”
Excellent third time for the Ducati rider from Forlì at Le Mans
Andrea Dovizioso hit the front row with the Ducati at Le Mans, scene of the French Grand Prix, fourth stage of the 2013 world championship. The man from Forlì managed to lap very fast with his GP13, remaining surprised by his performance. He hopes it will be dry for the race tomorrow, but even in case of rain he is ready to face the Monster Energy Grand Prix de France.
“I'm happy with the work we did during the weekend because we were consistently fast, and we have the right pace to have a good race. Maybe not to reach the podium positions but we are much closer to our rivals than on the other tracks. Lapping in 1'33.6 was a surprise for me, I didn't think I could do such a time, and so it was a great feeling. I know that tomorrow will still be a difficult race: I hope that we can race in the dry, also because we have always tested in these conditions and we are quite fast, but even if the race is wet it shouldn't be a big problem for us because it seems to me that the GP13 works well in these conditions.”

Nice Dovi, in the rain I think you can have a better race than in the dry.

Well done Dovi, you have been with Ducati for such a short time and yet you already manage to be fast with this bike... The same could not be said of another rider who many considered the best to cure the ills of this team!!! What a great satisfaction!!!!
