MotoGP Le Mans: Pedrosa, “We weren't able to get the rear tire up to temperature”

Gp Le Mans MotoGP Honda Repsol Free Practice - HRC rider Dani Pedrosa was unable to find the right feeling with the bike in either of today's two free practice sessions. In FP1, with mixed conditions, the Spaniard mounted the dry tire too late, and finished 13th fastest. While, in FP2, he suffered from a lack of grip at the rear. Problem that relegated him to 21st position. In the combined time standings he is in 14th, and if it continues to rain tomorrow, he risks having to go through the Q1 trap.

These are the words of Dani Pedrosa: “Today was a bit difficult because in the morning we had quite variable conditions, we started in the wet and ended up on an almost dry track. I changed the tire a little too late and couldn't improve my lap time. This afternoon for some reason we weren't able to get the rear tire to the right temperature, so I had no grip. We tried to correct it but couldn't. We would like to understand why this happened, but in any case we will focus tomorrow. It looks like we will have an improvement in the weather and therefore the track conditions for the rest of the weekend, so we will work on improving our feeling and preparing well for the race.”
