Gp Le Mans MotoGP HRC- After the victory in Jerez, Dani Pedrosa once again showcased the excellent form that took him from 13th position to the third step of the podium. A very important podium for the Honda rider, especially from a world championship perspective. Dani is currently second in the standings, 17 points behind Vinales.

These are the words of Dani Pedrosa: “I'm really happy, because after yesterday's situation outside of Q2, I was very worried about the start. It was difficult to get through the first chicane without any problems, but I knew that if I managed to get a good start and if I managed to get through the first chicane without any problems, I knew that the race would be long. The track is very narrow and the pace was high, I knew it would be difficult to overtake the others but I'm happy to have managed the situation well and to have achieved this result.”

The HRC driver then added: “Today was a very difficult race to manage. I had to do a mental exercise to be fast but without crashing, to be aggressive but calm. It was all there, I'm happy to be able to take advantage of this result and be second in the standings. After I saw Marc's crash I tried to keep pushing, I was there not too far away but the Yamahas pushed more and I was far away. I was a little calmer and had chatterin I didn't want to slip, I wouldn't have been able to earn much I would have only lost. We are working as hard as we can, it's a shame that we didn't start from the front in practice this weekend. We are taking a good line, the team is working well and I am happy. Now we have to keep trying like this for the next race.”
