MotoGP Laguna Seca, Andrea Dovizioso “Nice to see my name at the top of the timesheets”

Andrea Dovizioso achieved an excellent third time on the first day at Laguna Seca. The Ducati man from Forlì, on the track with the new chassis, therefore brings the Ducati back to the positions that count, rediscovering that feeling lost in the last few races. The GP13 seems to work better than the other tracks, even if there is still work to be done to be constant.

“It's always great to see my name up on the screens! I had Marquez a little far away as a reference, but I managed to do a great lap. In any case, the feeling is good: we are closer than at the other tracks and, even though Laguna Seca is a very particular track, our GP13 works better here. Tomorrow we'll see what our pace is, but we're not in a bad situation. But it seems to me that many of us have a good pace, and therefore it is still early to make predictions for the race. However, I am happy with how we started today. I only rode with the new chassis, and it seems to me to be better, although I can't say exactly how much because I haven't done a comparative test.”
