Jorge Lorenzo is preparing to take part in his third home race in Aragon, scene of the fourteenth stage of the 2011 world championship. The Majorcan Yamaha rider is convinced he can do well after the great victory obtained two weeks ago in Misano. The objective is to reduce the gap from Stoner, he has the say.

“I'm very happy to be riding again at home and for the second time in Aragon. I can't wait to see all the fans and especially my Fan Club. Last year I didn't manage to get on the podium and it was a real shame. I would have liked it because I was in Spain and the season had been perfect and also because I was wearing the Shoya helmet (Tomizawa, who died in a fall at Misano) in memory of him. I had a good race two weeks ago in Misano and now I'm very confident I can get another podium, we believe we can close our gap to Casey (Stoner) again.”
