Andrea Dovizioso's opinions are positive on the new chassis brought to the race yesterday by Michele Pirro and which was tested today by the riders of the internal Ducati Corse team. The driver from Forlì ended the day with the seventh fastest time, but, like his teammate Nicky Hayden, he reported notable improvements. Let's hear his words.

“It was interesting to be able to test the bike today with the new frame, which will arrive shortly to be used in the race, even if I don't know exactly when yet. We were able to compare it with my usual bike and the lap time wasn't bad at all, and also the turn-in problem improved a little, especially in fast corners. This is the first real change this year, and while it's not as big as I'd hoped, it's in the right direction.”

Ducati has been going in the right direction for years, but the results don't seem great to me.
    Are CRTs the right direction?

In the end, for us Ducato fans it's nice like this, we have an exaggerated masochism inside, moreover now we even get slapped in SBK!!
Apart from this, it must be considered that the development of the DD16 has been at a standstill for well over a year now and by chasing it it always seems like doing less than is necessary...

If you read the interview on gpone it doesn't seem to say at all that there have been notable improvements….

    Usual premise:
I am of the opinion that, if Ducati finds itself in these conditions, a large, very large portion of the "credit" must be attributed to the Vale-Burgess couple. I'm not going to explain the reasons again, otherwise we'll end up at night.

Ducati updates, chassis and engine output.
Nobody said that there have been notable improvements, but only that we are going in the right direction and that the bike has improved in some characteristics.

At Yamaha, where they have exaggerated experience with frames of this type, with an excellently balanced bike, they have made a new frame which still presents problems.

In honor of Iannone's Jerez tests, when, in FP4, he found himself ahead of Vale and Vale, only in the last, last attempt, did he manage to overtake Iannone by just 84 hundredths of a second.
To commemorate this event, I take inspiration from a cult film (as well as a cult actor). I'm talking about Blade Runner with Rutger Hauer.

“I have seen things that you humans (tavulliaboys) could not imagine,
Racing Ducatis, shooting flames from the muffler in Vale's face,
I saw a Yamaha flash in the dark, near Jeremyhauser's garage
and all those moments will be lost in time
    like skidding on asphalt.
It's time to tell it like it is."

I hope Tavulliaboys will also like it.
