MotoGP Jerez: Stefan Bradl “It's difficult in this heat”

Stefan Bradl did not go beyond the eighth fastest time on the first day of testing for the Spanish Grand Prix. The German driver suffered from the high temperatures of the Andalusian track, but still managed to save tires for qualifying. The word is up to him.

“We tried to adapt to the circumstances considering the heat and the tire situation. We're not in such a bad situation (last year we had a complicated weekend here) but I still struggle on this track. At the end of the afternoon session I wasn't able to lower the time due to the temperature and we also made some changes to the geometry and other things trying to improve corner entry. Something worked and above all we saved the tires for tomorrow morning's session which is essential for immediate access to Q2.”
