Nicky Hayden finished qualifying for the MotoGP Spanish Grand Prix in seventh position, which will take place tomorrow on the Jerez de la Frontera circuit. The American rider is quite happy, even if there is an unknown wrist, which hurts him. On his fastest lap he was also "disturbed" by debris left on the track by Valentino Rossi, who crashed without consequences. He has the microphone.

“Today there was a really big crowd and, due to the intensity of the various sessions and the number of crashes, it almost seemed like a day of racing, rather than testing. This morning we managed to make a small step forward and my GP13 was fine. Then, with the temperatures decidedly warmer in the afternoon, my performance worsened slightly. All in all though I had a lot more fun than in the first two races of the season when I had a problem with the rear rim. At the end of the session I was going really fast but some debris left on the track after Rossi's crash ruined my fastest lap. Tomorrow won't be easy, also given the condition of my wrist, but this time it will be nice to start from further forward."
