MotoGP Jerez: Andrea Dovizioso “Today we went quite well”

Fifth time for Andrea Dovizioso on the first day of the Spanish Grand Prix, which will take place on Sunday on the Andalusian track of Jerez de la Frontera. The Ducati rider tried the hard compound on the front, but like other times he was unable to exploit it. He has the microphone.

“Today we did quite well. I wanted to try the hard compound front tyre, but once again we weren't able to make the most of it, and for this reason we weren't so fast at the start. Towards the end of the session we put the medium tire up front, the one that everyone will have to use in my opinion, and the bike definitely improved. Then we fitted the extra-soft rear tire at the end and I managed to set my time. As always, here too it is important to stay in the top ten and get into Q2, but it is more important to check that the medium front tire (with the code 33) works from a race perspective, even if in my opinion it still remains too soft."
