MotoGP – Jerez Race – Andrea Dovizioso finishes in sixth place

After the ninth time in qualifying today in Jerez, Andrea Dovizioso managed to recover up to sixth position. A result that doesn't satisfy him, but he hopes to improve for the next races by finding good solutions in tomorrow's test day with his Honda: he has the say.

“I made a good start and the first laps were good as I managed to pass several riders and find myself sixth. In the central part of the race I kept a good pace, but in the last five laps, after I realized that I wouldn't be able to catch up with the leaders, I preferred to keep sixth place. We went better than last year, my pace improved, but I'm disappointed with this result. We will continue to work and I am happy to test the new material, chassis and engine tomorrow, so we can continue with the progress of this start to the championship.”
