MotoGP 2015 Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix Warm Up – Marc Marquez and Jorge Lorenzo were protagonists in the warm up of the MotoGP class in Indianapolis, not only for their performances (Marquez achieved the best time and Lorenzo the third) but also because they both crashed.

The Majorcan from Yamaha crashed 13 minutes from the end of the session, when his Yamaha M1 lost grip at the rear, while the reigning champion crashed at the end of the session due to the locking of the steering of his Honda RC213V, which occurred at the first corner after the finishing straight. Fortunately for both of them there are no physical problems, but the mechanics will be called upon to do extra work to fix the bikes for the race.

Dani Pedrosa, scorer of the second half, was placed between the two. Valentino Rossi recorded the fourth best performance ahead of the first Ducati, that of Andrea Iannone, who turns 26 today.

Sixth time for Pol Espargarò's Yamaha, seventh for Cal Crutchlow's Honda, eighth for Bradley Smith's Yamaha, ninth for Maverick Vinales' Suzuki and tenth for Colombian Yonny Hernandez's Ducati.

Danilo Petrucci, on the second Ducati of Team Pramac (in the race he will start from the second row) is twelfth, immediately ahead of Andrea Dovizioso.

Lorenzo and Marquez aren't sparing themselves but they aren't using their brains too much either...

With unclear or unstable weather conditions, Lorenzo first at the start of the warm up and Marquez a bit more intelligently at the end of the warm up stretched out...

Marquez did it in the end by trying and exceeding the limit, which he shouldn't have done, because you never know what happens to the bike and then a few hours pass, I think 4 at the start of the race and if you need it for the flag to flag and they get something wrong or don't notice a problem, then you find yourself with a bike that could give you problems in the race.

Lorenzo even practically did a high side, which cost him a lot of time and he was lucky to be able to return to the pits and manage to take the second bike, but he was already behind, and had to catch up on Marquez, by doing so he wouldn't he was able to feel everything he was supposed to feel.

Pedrosa certainly benefits the most, although it seems to me that he doesn't have the speed of Marquez and perhaps not even the consistency of Jorge.

Rossi has still made progress but he is too far away, he must hope for a wet race, but in a wet race in his favor in which he must be the luckiest, because otherwise a flag to flag could cost him dearly, it is he who he has more to lose and would probably risk less, and therefore could lose more points, Maquez certainly has nothing to lose, and neither does Pedrosa, perhaps Jorge is the only one who has to better calculate the risks to take.

They have great times but they risk more. As long as it goes well for him... If one time it goes badly for him...
