The Sepang tests are on the horizon, three days from 22nd to 24th January where all the teams will be present for the return to action after the long winter break. After the tests in Malaysia, however, the MotoGP teams will fly to Phillip Island, where another three days of intense work are scheduled from January 30th to February 1st. Tests in which the Honda, Ducati, Kawasaki and Suzuki teams participated: not Yamaha, which for the third consecutive year decided not to test in Australia, preferring an additional three days of checks in Sepang, starting from February 5th.

Nothing new under the sun therefore, just a different scheduling of the (very important) winter tests. Tests to which Yamaha will bring various technical innovations right from Sepang aimed at regaining the leadership lost, data in hand, in the last two seasons.

In Sepang, therefore, innovations on a technical, but also aesthetic level: this Friday at the Agnelli Auditorium of the Cengro Congressi Lingotto in Turin the 2008 Fiat Yamaha colors will be shown, with which the YZR M1s (as well as the riders Rossi and Lorenzo) will be dressed since testing in Malaysia.
