MotoGP | GP Valencia Press Conference: Marquez, “We achieved our goal”

MotoGP GP Valencia Press Conference – World champion Marc Marquez was present at the press conference on Thursday, which precedes the Valencia Grand Prix, the last stage of the 2018 MotoGP.

The Spanish rider, after having collected his seventh world title at the Japanese GP, returned to the top step of hatred in the last race in Malaysia, also giving Honda the constructors' title.

The Spanish rider then spoke about the retirement of his teammate, Dani Pedrosa, and his next teammate: “I shared many good moments with Dani. We fought on the track but off the track we always respected each other and I learned a lot from him. It will be a special weekend for the team, because he is a legend. From Monday we will have a new rider, with a different character and a different style so we will see how he adapts. I want to focus on my race, then the 2019 season begins on Monday."

The #93 then told a nice anecdote about his teammate, Dani Pedrosa, who will retire after the Valencia GP: “Dani is not what people think he is. I remember one time in Japan, we were celebrating victories with karaoke and he was singing without a shirt, he was completely crazy, completely the opposite of how you imagine him. He may be shy in front of the cameras, but he's very funny."
