MotoGP | Valencia GP 2 Qualifying: Fabio Quartararo, “I'm not thinking about Mir”

MotoGP GP Valencia 2 Yamaha MotoGP Qualifying – Fabio Quartararo ended qualifying for the Valencia Grand Prix, the penultimate stage of the 2020 MotoGP, in eleventh position.

The driver of the Petronas team who is fighting for the title with Joan Mir, who will start behind him, did not seem at ease in the uncertain conditions in which qualifying took place, and will be forced to recover, despite the Spaniard's position, to try to keep the title fight open.

“Today was difficult with the conditions constantly changing and it wasn't easy to get the best set-up. The feeling wasn't great today, even when we put a new tire on the bike. We struggled today, but we have some changes planned for the warm-up tomorrow which should help us improve. Our main contender will start behind us, just by one place, but I'm not thinking about that at the moment. Instead I stay focused on how we can improve my bike for tomorrow, what my race will be like and things like that. We have to see what the conditions are for the race and then do our best.”
