Yamaha's #25 in Austin has a best result in MotoGP of fourth place
MotoGP Yamaha Movistar Preview US GP – Maverick Vinales is preparing to face the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas after fifth place in the Argentine Grand Prix, a race in which the Yamaha Spaniard crossed the finish line 14.941s behind the winner Cal Crutchlow.
On the Austin track, the #25 from the Tre Diapason manufacturer achieved a best result of fourth place in 2016, while it didn't reach the finish line last year. The word is up to him.
“We arrive in Austin in a position from which we can work to improve the bike. It's the third race and we can't afford mistakes. We must fight for victory with all our strength. I don't have a good memory of last year at COTA, because unfortunately I crashed at the start of the race – said Maverick Vinales, so this year I will try to get to the podium. I like the circuit, the layout is fantastic, so I will try to give 100%.”
