MotoGP GP Thailand Free Practice 1 – Jorge Martin achieved the best time in the first free practice session of the MotoGP class Thai Grand Prix, the 17th round of the 2023 MotoGP championship scheduled at the Chang International Circuit. The Prima Pramac Racing team rider recorded his best time in 1:30.520, ahead of Maverick Vinales' Aprilia and Pol Espargarò's KTM GASGAS.

Fourth was Aleix Espargarò (Aprilia Racing), ahead of Franco Morbidelli's Yamaha. Sixth time for Augusto Fernandez (KTM GASGAS) ahead of the Ducati of Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini Racing) and the Aprilia RNF of Raul Fernandez.

Closing out the TOP 10 times are Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing) and the world championship leader, Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team). Twelfth Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha MotoGP) and eighteenth Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team)

Difficult round for the Ducatis of the Mooney VR46 team with Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi in fifteenth and sixteenth position. Enea Bastianini is also behind, only seventeenth.
