MotoGP GP Silverstone Suzuki – Below expectations for Alex Rins on Saturday at Silverstone, site of the next British Grand Prix. The Suzuki Spaniard, despite the good sensations on Friday, was unable to confirm his feeling on the GSX-RR, an aspect that will force him to start from 11th place, far from the top positions of the grid.

“I'm a little disappointed because I was doing a good job in all the sessions. Qualifying, however, didn't go well at all. In the first moto, due to an error between Michelin and the Team, I went out with a hard front tire instead of a soft one, as expected and obviously this didn't give me a good feeling. Once in the garage we found and solved the problem and fitted a new soft one, but then there wasn't much time left and I only made one attempt at a fast lap. Despite everything I still improved my time by a tenth and made my personal best lap on this track. The fourth row is a long way back, but I have a very strong pace and I'd like to think I can fight at the front."
