MotoGP | GP Qatar Race: Joan Mir, “It was a good race”

MotoGP GP Qatar Suzuki 2021 – Fourth place for Joan Mir in the Qatar Grand Prix, the inaugural event of the 2021 MotoGP world championship. The reigning Suzuki World Champion, despite a poor qualifying, managed to move up the rankings thanks to an excellent race pace, an aspect which allowed him to gain important points for the world championship. The objective will now be confirmed in the Doha Grand Prix, a replay of the Losail race scheduled for next weekend.

“I feel good and it was a good race. In the warm-up I managed to take a step forward in terms of balance and the feeling with the bike improved. The package worked well and I'm really grateful to the team for what they did during the sessions. Compared to qualifying, I managed to push hard throughout the race, recovering positions. Unfortunately the Ducatis overtook me on the straight, but in the end I am satisfied with the fourth place obtained. Now we will analyze the data and try to improve for the second weekend. I feel positive and ready to give more”.
