MotoGP | GP Qatar Race: Iannone, “It was a positive race overall”
"I'm happy, we improve every time we go out on track," added the Italian
MotoGP Aprilia Gresini Qatar GP – The adaptation process continues for Andrea Iannone. In fact, despite Saturday's terrible qualifying, the Italian finished the Qatar Grand Prix in fourteenth position, obtaining some championship points.
A start to the season that is certainly not easy, but which the former Suzuki standard bearer hopes to redeem over the next few weeks, given that the objective will be to perfect a feeling that is not yet perfect with the 2019 RS-GP.
Here are Andrea Iannone's assessments: “It was a positive race overall. On my debut with Aprilia we finished 14 seconds behind the leader, this means we worked well. There was no shortage of difficulties: at the first corner I lost my left wing due to a contact, and this certainly didn't help. I'm happy, we improve every time we go on track and I have a team of competent people behind me who believe in me. Fundamental ingredients that allow me to be positive, we are on the right path."
