Ducati Avintia GP Qatar 2 MotoGP 2021 Qualifying – Enea Bastianini finished the Doha Grand Prix, the second round of the 2021 MotoGP, in 19th position.

The Team Avintia rookie, tenth last Sunday on his debut again at the Losail International Circuit, after missing direct access to Q2, had several problems during Q1, including one with the first bike, which prevented him from finding the right feeling.

Enea Bastianini Statements Qatar GP 2 Qualifying

“We had some problems today too. In FP3 and FP4 we had good sensations and we improved quite a bit. However, in qualifying we had a problem with the bike and I had to return. I had to wait for the second bike to be ready, but I wasn't able to find the feeling to set a good time, I'm sure I would have managed to get through to Q2. That's not how it went but we have to think about having a good race, starting strong and then we'll see. A race like last Sunday won't be bad, we can do it. We can be fast in pace and aim for another top ten. We didn't find many differences from the last race, the sensations are a little more critical, perhaps with less grip we had some more difficulties."
