MotoGP Gp Mugello Gresini Racing – Alex Marquez was the victim of a fall during the Italian Grand Prix, sixth stage of the 2023 MotoGP.

While he was racing in third place (fighting with Marini and Zarco) he lost the front wheel exiting turn three and ended up in the gravel with no chance of returning to the track. Weekend to forget for the Spaniard who will only have to wait a few days before trying again, this time on the German Sachsenring track.

“A shame really. After so much bad luck, today together with the team we decided to go for the podium with conviction. Maybe I should have confirmed myself with a top5 but I wanted to give everything and try. I made a mini mistake in Turn 3, where I was too inside touching the white line. The home GP was important for the team and for me too. We have shown once again that we can compete, but I need to gain more experience with the bike. In a situation with a lot of grip everything is fine, but when it's so hot I still have to find the limit with the bike..."
