MotoGP | Misano GP, Quartararo: "Here we will understand if we are working in the right direction"

MotoGP GP San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Misano 2023 Monster Energy Yamaha – Fabio Quartararo Barcellona managed to gather something more than expected, the next stage, Misano, will be essential to reconfirm some sensations.

Fabio Quartararo enters the beloved circuit 11th in the general classification. The Misano track holds a special place in his heart, as he secured his MotoGP World Championship title here in 2021. However, he doesn't have much time to reminisce about this weekend as he is keen to continue building on the progress made on Sunday of the Catalan GP. The Frenchman enjoys riding his YZR-M1 on this track, as demonstrated by the two second places he achieved here, in 2019 and 2021 (San Marino GP), so he will look to continue on this path this weekend.

“The Barcelona race was a positive way to end that GP. We want to try our Sunday set-up in Misano too. I think this will give us more information and confirm whether we are working in the right direction or not. Misano is also a nice track. Driving here for four days – because we also have the test – is quite nice. I know my team is working as hard as they can, so we will do our best to take another step forward this weekend.”
