MotoGP | GP Misano Race: Quartararo, “For the first time I'm happy with a second place”

MotoGP GP Misano Yamaha 2021 – Fabio Quartararo closed the Misano Grand Prix, the fourteenth stage of the 2021 MotoGP, in second position.

The Frenchman started from the front row and fought for the leading positions throughout the race, but remained in third position for the first part of the race. After overtaking Miller he tried in every way to catch Bagnaia in first position, but unfortunately for the Frenchman, the Ducati rider managed a very fast last lap which didn't even give him the chance to attempt the attack.

“It was a tough race with the Ducatis. I tried everything at the beginning but Pecco had too much of an advantage. I could get to Bagnaia, but I couldn't go beyond it. On the last lap he did a time attack, he did a masterpiece today. Today I tried everything, I thought little about the championship, more about winning. I risked crashing often, but it's the first time I'm happy with such a difficult second place."
