MotoGP | GP Misano Day 1: Iannone, “We started with a really positive feeling”

Positive start for Andrea Iannone in the free practice valid for the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix, the thirteenth round of this 2018 MotoGP world championship. The Italian suffered a fall during FP2, but the chronometric responses were absolutely positive and the hope is to confirm this pace also during tomorrow.

Here are the words of Andrea Iannone: “Things are going well, we started with a really positive feeling this morning and we confirmed it during FP2. We started the afternoon session with used compounds, to do a sort of race simulation, and this was also positive for us."

“Unfortunately, when I put new front and rear tires on for the final moments, I crashed and lost the front. I think the tire was a little cold. My feeling with the bike, in any case, isn't bad. We need to improve the braking point and speed a little more. Let's see if it will rain tomorrow."he concluded.
