MotoGP | Malaysian GP Warm Up: Zarco takes the last turn on a damp track
The first two title contenders Bagnaia and Quartararo finished eighth and 17th respectively
MotoGP GP Malaysia Sepang Warm Up – Johann Zarco wins the Warm Up of the Malaysian Grand Prix MotoGP class, 19th and penultimate stage of the 2022 MotoGP, scheduled for Sunday at 09:00 Italian time at the SIC, Sepang International Circuit.
On a damp track that dried out at the end, the French rider stopped the time at 2:02.442, preceding Marc Marquez by 0.692s and Alex Marquez by 1.175.
Fourth time for Miguel Oliveira ahead of Alex Rins and Cal Crutchlow. Joan Mir finishes with the seventh fastest time ahead of Francesco Bagnaia and Fabio Di Giannantonio. Pol Espargarò completes the top ten.
Only 17th, with a micro-fracture on his finger, Fabio Quartararo.
Rookie Warm Up MotoGP GP Malaysia
The best rookie was Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati Gresini) ninth, Darryn Binder (Yamaha WithU RNF) 13th, Raul Fernandez (KTM Team Tech 3) 18th, Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati Mooney VR46 Racing Team) 19th and Remy Gardner (KTM Team Tech) 3 and from next year in Yamaha Superbike) 21st.
