MotoGP | Malaysian GP Qualifying: Bezzecchi, “A great day”

GP Malaysia Mooney VR46 Racing Team MotoGP 2022 – Marco Bezzecchi closed qualifying for the Malaysian Grand Prix, the penultimate stage of the 2022 MotoGP, with the fourth fastest time.

Comfortable from the first free practices, in P2 at the end of FP3 (1'58.772 ed.) and first overall in FP4 (1'59.925 ed.) thanks to an excellent pace, Marco set a best time of 1'58.490 in the second run of Q2, time which is worth a delay of only seven tenths from pole position (Martin, 1'57.790 ed.).

“A great day: I'm happy with the result on the time attack, but even more so with the pace set in FP4. Yesterday we didn't try a real flying lap so the step forward made today was important. I'm happy, the sensations are good, I'm fast and I ride as I would like. Tomorrow will be a difficult race to manage, let's hope for the weather, for now, the forecast seems a bit naughty.”
