MotoGP GP Spain Race – The Spanish Grand Prix, fourth stage of the 2019 MotoGP, was won by Marc Marquez.
The Honda rider, at success #46 in MotoGP, dominated, returning to the top of the world rankings. On the podium were compatriots Alex Rins on Suzuki (winner in Austin, ed.) and Maverick Vinales on Yamaha.
The official Ducatis of Andrea Dovizioso and Danilo Petrucci finished at the foot of the podium in fourth and fifth position, ahead of Valentino Rossi.
In the world rankings Marquez leads with 1 point ahead of Rins, 3 over Dovizioso and 9 over Rossi. Of note is the retirement due to a technical problem of the youngest MotoGP pole-man, Fabio Quartararo, who was in second position.
