MotoGP GP Spain Suzuki MotoGP Race – Alex Rins, after the victory in Austin, achieved second place and the seventh podium in MotoGP in the Spanish Grand Prix, the fourth round of the 2019 MotoGP championship.

The Suzuki rider, who started from the back, ran a comeback race, which puts him just one point behind the new world championship leader Marc Marquez. He has the microphone.

“I'm very happy, getting to second place, starting from behind, was very difficult. Passing the Ducatis was tough. I give 100% throughout the weekend, but in the race I always feel very good and this gives me the extra to be able to overtake. In this race I suffered a bit with the tyre, I had the average on the front and with 5 laps to go I was at the limit – said Alex Rins – I couldn't stop the bike well. Starting well in the championship allows us to continue improving, I'm happy with the team. On tracks like Jerez it's difficult to overtake, I struggled to pass Dovizioso. The Suzuki has good mileage, but the Ducatis have great acceleration. Before starting the season I knew that the bike was good and I am happy to be second in the championship. The championship is still long but we continue to fight.”
