MotoGP GP Germany LCR Honda – Satisfaction at LCR for the qualifying of Cal Crutchlow and Taakaki Nakagami on the Sachsenring track, scene of the next German Grand Prix. Despite their physical conditions, in fact, the standard bearers of Lucio Cecchinello's team managed to gain access to Q2, placing themselves inside the top 12. A positive qualifying that will be made the most of in the race scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.

“Yes, I'm quite satisfied; sixth in Assen qualifying and sixth here too means that we have a good pace", Cal Crutchlow said. “It will be a long race and obviously the temperature of the asphalt will greatly influence the choice of tyres. I personally haven't made my decision yet also because in FP4 we mounted the used rear tire and to be honest it wasn't exciting. Let's wait and see what happens tomorrow but I think we can fight to finish in the top ten... here in the race we always battle each other."

Here are Taakaki Nakagami's assessments: “It was really tough for me today. This morning I felt better and I put on my left shoe after several days and began to rest my foot on the ground. But at the end of FP3 I felt something was wrong. The pain was very strong and in FP4 I seriously thought about giving up. But then by adjusting the bandage I was able to finish and also get through to Q2. I don't know how tomorrow will go because my ankle still hurts a lot but I have to give my all to finish this first part of the season well: for me and for the whole team!".
