GP Catalunya Mooney VR46 Racing Team MotoGP 2022 – Marco Bezzecchi was the victim of a crash, fortunately without consequences, during the Catalan Grand Prix, ninth stage of the 2022 MotoGP.
The rookie finished in P15 after the brawl at the start and was then forced to retire after a crash on the fifth lap. He is 17th overall, still first among rookies on the eve of the double away match between Germany and Holland

“Not an easy start, but I was trying to recover and not put too much stress on the front tire. I was really catching a lot of hot air in the slipstream and, even though I didn't make much effort to brake at that point, I crashed at turn 10. A real shame for the whole team, they did a great job. An aspect that I have to work on and take a step to avoid making these mistakes again."
