MotoGP | Austrian GP Warm Up: Dovizioso at the top, Marquez second and crashed
Yamaha's crisis continues, tenth and eleventh places for Vinales and Rossi
MotoGP GP Austria Warm Up – Andrea Dovizioso achieved the best time in the Warm Up of the MotoGP class at the Red Bull Ring, where the Austrian Grand Prix, eleventh stage of the 14 MotoGP World Championship, will start at 00 pm.
The Ducati rider, who carried out the entire session with a medium rear tyre, stopped the clock at a time of 1:24.138, a time which allowed him to overtake Marc Marquez, 0.101s behind, just at the end of the session. The world championship leader also crashed at turn 3, a crash without consequences.
Third time for another official Ducati, that of Jorge Lorenzo, who preceded Andrea Iannone's Suzuki, Cal Crutchlow's Team LCR Honda and Bradley Smith's KTM.
Aleix Espargarò with Aprilia is seventh, ahead of Alex Rins' Suzuki, Dani Pedrosa's Honda and the first Yamaha, the M1 of Maverick Vinales, trailing Dovizioso by 0.826s.
Valentino Rossi is eleventh and Johann Zarco fourteenth, this is evidence of the crisis of the Iwata house, which yesterday publicly apologized to the drivers for the poor performance of the M1.
