MotoGP GP Argentina Ducati – Jorge Lorenzo finished the first stage of the 2018 MotoGP, in Qatar, in the gravel due to a brake failure (here is Brembo's apology).

Throughout the Qatari weekend, the Majorcan had never managed to be truly competitive; in the race, before the fall, he was "floating" close to the top ten. In Argentina #99 wants to make up for it.

The Termas de Rio Hondo track is not the ideal circuit to seek redemption, given the poor results in past editions, but being able to be competitive here means demonstrating how good there is in the work done by Ducati and how both Lorenzo and his teammate of the team, Andrea Dovizioso, can hope to aim for the title.

In the 99 previous editions of the Argentine GP, the #4 only reached the podium once, in 2014, when it finished in fourth place. Last year his race ended on the first corner.

These are the words of Jorge Lorenzo: “After the disappointment in Qatar, in addition to understanding the causes of the problem we had so that it doesn't happen again, the important thing for us is to continue to work hard as always, also because I believe we are close to finding a better bike setting. suited to my characteristics. I am working with the usual commitment and I am convinced that positive results can arrive soon, even in Argentina, because I don't think there are favorable or unfavorable tracks and when I arrive at a circuit I always think I can fight for the victory. Everything is possible in MotoGP: the championship is still very long and we need to think positively."
