MotoGP GP Aragon KTM – At the end of a good duel with Aleix Espargarò, Brad Binder was unable to conquer the third step of the podium in the last Aragon Grand Prix, the 15th round of the 2022 MotoGP world championship.

The South African from KTM, author of a good performance aboard his RC16, managed to hold third place for most of the race, only to then "surrender" at the end to his colleague's assault. However, the good performance remains and the clear step forward made compared to the performances shown to date by KTM. His teammate, Miguel Oliveira, was 11th.

Brad Binder Statements Aragon GP Race MotoGP 2022

“All in all I'm happy to walk away with 4th place today. I gave everything I had in the race and the bike worked at its best all weekend, so hats off to the team for a fantastic job. I think we had a good weekend here. Unfortunately, the crash in FP3 set me back a bit with my ankle, but today I managed to put it aside and fight to make my way forward. I had a great start and was in the top three the whole race, so it was a little disappointing to miss out on the podium with two laps to go, but it wasn't to be today. We have some work to do to take that last step and fight for the podium again.”

Statements Miguel Oliveira GP Aragon MotoGP Race 2022

“It's not the result we wanted because we were fast and competitive all weekend, but the wear on the rear tire was unexpected today. I was in trouble at the start of the race and I can't find any reason. I already had a difficult start when another rider lunged at me at turn 15 and I had to run off the track. So, it was a pretty decent weekend but we couldn't capitalize with the result. We'll do another one next weekend."
