MotoGP – Estoril – Race to forget for Alex Hofmann

The Portuguese GP (the scene of the fourteenth race of the 2007 world championship in the MotoGP class) was a weekend to forget for Alex Hofmann, rider of the Pramac D'Antin Team. In fact, on the alignment lap the German rider had a problem with his bike and therefore had to return to the pits. Having started last, Hofmann then decided to retire when he had the penultimate rider at six seconds. He has the microphone.

“Once again I can say it wasn't my day. Just as I lined up on the starting line after the alignment lap, I had to return to the pits due to a problem with the bike and then when I saw that I was six seconds from the second to last I couldn't find the motivation to stay in the race in last position.
