MotoGP – Estoril – Elias is disappointed

At the end of a complicated weekend to say the least, Toni Elias finished eighth in the race held on the Portuguese circuit of Estoril. In fact, since the first free practice sessions, the Team Gresini Spaniard had traction problems, which were not completely resolved, while during the race he was rear-ended by another driver, slipping to thirteenth position, then recovering up to eighth. A shame because perhaps he could have done much better. He has the microphone.

“It was a complicated weekend. Since Friday we have struggled with traction problems, which we have only partially resolved. Then in the race, I had to deal with a driver who rear-ended me when I was eighth after having made a good start. I was forced to go straight and found myself 13th. I began a comeback which finally led me to recover my initial position. I'm sorry because this is a circuit that I really like and I could have done much better."
