MotoGP – Estoril Day 1 – Elias is not satisfied

An unlucky day for Toni Elias on the first day of testing for the Portuguese GP in the MotoGP class. The Team Fortuna Honda Gresini rider actually crashed in the afternoon (at the first corner after the starting straight), thus slowing down the work programme. In the end Elias finished in eleventh position

"I'm not happy with this first day. I was hoping to be further ahead, but instead the crash that occurred at the first corner during the afternoon session made me lose time, slowing down the planned work. It was my mistake, I went long and lost the front. I'm sorry for this eleventh time because I like the track a lot and today we had many problems. However, I am confident for tomorrow. If everything goes well, I'm sure we can take a good step forward."
